Finding the Right Narrative Arc

I’ve been diving into different narrative structures lately, especially the three-act structure and the hero’s journey. It’s fascinating how a well-defined arc can shape character development and reader engagement. I’d love to hear about any tools or techniques you use to identify and strengthen arcs in your projects.

I’ve found that using character journals can really clarify arcs. Writing from a character’s perspective helps me stay true to their journey while also keeping the narrative goal in mind. Have you tried anything like that?

Using visual storyboards has helped me map out arcs effectively — it’s amazing how much clearer character journeys become. Have you tried that method?
